Machine foam dyes are marketed as wash-out formulas, and at standard doses on grass with a same-day rinse, that matches how these parties actually go. The risks concentrate in four places: heavy dosing (more dye ≠ better photos — sunlight is what makes the color pop), dark colors on white fabric, pale porous surfaces (unsealed pavers, light grout, white vinyl fence), and letting dyed foam dry instead of hosing it down.
